My favorite answer is, contact us!! We have a wealth of information and ideas for startups and (shhhhh) it’s one of our favorite things! However, if you want the textbook answer, here it is...
The most important thing to do is to find someone you trust to hash out your ideas and allow them to help you refine things. Also, it’s very important to do some market research. Look at similar ideas to your own and research not only the successes but the failures. You could start a blog as a way to prototype your idea and collect information from people who may be interested in what you are thinking about doing. If all of the above is going smoothly, consider the cost of your startup and figure out the best path for raising funds for your new enterprise. This is the time to decide if you are going to need help with money or if you can start up on your own.
Most importantly, do not let this list overwhelm you! It is better to try and fail than to not try at all. (There is a poem floating around out there with this title...look it up)
So contact us! We can help.
